Lion King Jr. Costumes
While there is still several weeks until performance week arrives, please review the following information and make sure you have all the necessary items for your child.
Beginning on the first night of Dress Rehearsal cast members will need to have appropriate undergarments and shoes when they arrive at the theater.

Please find your role(s) below and begin collecting your costume pieces early.
Undergarments are necessary because everybody may change costumes in a large, public, co-ed dressing room. Please, no midriffs.
- Fitted undergarments help to ensure nothing is bulky and seen underneath the costume.
- Tan jazz shoes or tan/brown sandals, (no flip flops!)
- Children might want a sweater/sweatshirt to wear as they come and go from the theater.
Hair: Head dresses will be a part of the costumes, therefore, girls with long hair should wear 2 french braids that can be easily tucked into the head dress.
K-3 (Prideland Animals): light colored tank top, light colored shorts, tan jazz shoes or tan/brown sandals
4-6 (Lionesses): light-colored tank top, light-colored shorts tan jazz shoes
4-6 (Hyenas): dark/black-colored tank top, dark/black-colored shorts, tan jazz shoes or tan/brown sandals
Rafiki: light-colored tank top, light-colored shorts, tan jazz shoes or tan/brown sandals
Mufasa: light-colored tank top, light-colored shorts, tan jazz shoes or tan/brown sandals
Scar: dark/black-colored tank top, dark/black-colored shorts, tan jazz shoes or tan/brown sandals
Young Simba: light-colored tank top, light-colored shorts, tan jazz shoes or tan/brown sandals
Young Nala: light-colored tank top, light-colored shorts, tan jazz shoes or tan/brown sandals
