Mary Poppins Jr. Costumes & Hair
While there are still several weeks until performance week arrives, please review the following information and make sure you have all the necessary items for your child.
Beginning on the night of Dress Rehearsal cast members will need to have appropriate undergarments, shoes, and hair when they arrive at the theater.

Please find your role(s) below and begin collecting your costume pieces early.
Cast members should apply mascara before arrival. All other makeup will be provided and applied at the theater before performances.
Undergarments are necessary because everybody will change costumes in a large, public, co-ed dressing room. Please, no midriffs.
- Fitted undergarments help to ensure nothing is bulky and seen underneath the costume.
- Black jazz shoes, black dress shoes, or black sneakers, (no flip flops!) and black socks for all cast members unless noted differently below.
- Children might want a sweater/sweatshirt to wear as they come and go from the theater.
K-3 (Londoners) – girls: light colored tank top, light colored shorts, black or white tights, long hair in braids, bun, or half up – half down
K-3 (Londoners) – boys: white t-shirt, shorts, hair neatly combed
4-6 (Chimney Sweeps) – girls: light-colored tank top, light or dark-colored shorts, long hair in braids
4-6 (Chimney Sweeps) – boys: white t-shirt, light or dark-colored shorts, hair neatly combed
4-6 (Bankers) – girls: black or dark-colored tank top, dark/black-colored shorts, black tights, long hair in a low bun or French braid

Statues: light-colored tank top, light-colored shorts, white tights or leggings, long hair in braids
